Swimming visit to the Leuca caves
…a dive where the sea is bluest…
The Leuca caves are one of the hidden treasures of Salento, a magical and fascinating place that enchants anyone lucky enough to visit them. Located along the rocky coast of Capo di Santa Maria di Leuca , these caves offer a unique and breathtaking spectacle.
The shapes and colors of the Leuca caves are a true spectacle of nature: from the stalactites and stalagmites that hang from the ceiling to the walls sculpted by the incessant action of the waves that constantly bathe them, everything in this place speaks of beauty and mystery. One of the most famous caves is the Devil's Cave , so called because of its sinister and dark shape which resembles an open mouth ready to swallow whoever enters it. Other notable caves are the Grotta del Laghetto , characterized by the presence of a small lake hidden behind a cliff to be climbed on foot, and the Grotta delle Tre Porte , with its three entrances that seem to open the doors to an enchanted kingdom.
